BIOHUMUS
microbiological fertilizer

Biohumus is an organic fast-acting fine-grained fertilizer obtained by processing the substrate from cattle manure or bird droppings using vermiculture (red California hybrid earthworm Esenia Foetida).

in the process of processing organic waste, vermiculture decomposes proteins, carbohydrates and other organic compounds in its digestive tract. The resulting substrate is enriched with useful microflora, micro-and macroelements, humus, vitamins and other biologically active compounds.

Biohumus is a bulk product with a granular homogeneous structure, consisting of organic and mineral substances, in the form of small dense lumps (coprolites) from dark brown to black.

Biohumus has no smell at humidity up to 15%, at humidity more than 20% it has the smell of wet earth after rain.

the Effect of biohumus in the "soil-plant" system is explained not only by the chemical composition of biohumus (high content of plant nutrition elements), but also by its high saturation with microorganisms, which provides a continuous synthesis of growth stimulators such as auxins, cytokinins.

Using biohumus

Biohumus is used as a fertilizer when growing
  • all types of cereals,
  • technical,
  • vegetable,
  • fruit and berry crops in open and protected ground,
  • all types of indoor flower and ornamental garden plants,
as well as for improving the physical and chemical properties of fertilized soils and as one of the main components of nutrient soils for growing seedlings of vegetable crops and flower-ornamental potted plants.

Influence for agricultural plants

Increase yields

Reduction of radionuclides and heavy metals

Improves shelf life, presentation, vitamins and taste of vegetables, berries and fruits

Increases seed germination and plant survival

Enhances the overall resistance of plants to physiological stresses, to weather anomalies such as drought or frost

Significantly suppresses bacterial and fungal diseases of plants

When adding biohumus to the planting hole for seedlings, shrubs or saplings, it will later show all of the above properties, and immediately after planting, thanks to biologically active substances, it will also increase the percentage of survival of seedlings of shrubs or saplings and increases the overall resistance of plants to physiological stress, to weather anomalies such as drought or frost.

Vermicompost. Beware of fakes!

Unfortunately, in stores for gardeners, more and more often under the guise of biohumus (vermicompost, coprolite, chervekompost and other names) sell fakes — a kind of substrate, which is a mixture of peat with sand and waste soil of greenhouses.

How to distinguish the real from the fake vermicompost?

It turns out to be quite simple.
